Fiction

Recently I have found myself floating into a sefl-made world. Where anything is possible.

Where I sculpt all the inhabitants of that land.

Where I rule.

MY imagination.

Here I will share snippets of the world I visit. Below is a tiny taste.

"I lay on the bed, reveling in the realm I had created. A place that existed only in my mind. Where I held the keys to a castle where I reigned supreme. I was the empress to a nation of dwarfs & midgets who played fiddles and drank red wine. They grew fruit & vegetables and picked them in the night to avoid the sun’s harsh rays. We crawled under the covers at sunrise and arose again upon its disappearance. The emperor; a bandana-wearing warrior of love. He defended it with all his might. It was the only thing he believed in.

A passionate fighter for love.
He loved to dance and never missed a single sunset. After all they were the beginning of our day. The midgets were in charge of happiness – they were doctors. They carried out house calls on a wagons pulled by Ostriches and Llama’s. You could hear them approaching by the un-missable musical notes floating from the cart. They delivered happiness at twilight. It only made sense. It was the perfect time for an ostrich feather tickle to be given (or received).

Their basket of happy-ness was filled with such odd commodities such as tiny dancing men & women who would tap dance, cha-cha, salsa or perform envy-worthy arabesque dance movements able to impress the most difficult of audiences. They would do it for a piece of blue cheese – it was their favourite snack. A delicacy of sorts.

Dig deeper into the basket and you will find a couple of fiddles, a lime Poompee (a fairly round creature which could fit in the palm of your hand, covered in the softest fur you could ever imagine. They changed colour according to your mood or imagination, whichever they picked up on first. They have trunks like elephants and pointy ears which twist around each other when overwhelmed with excitement! – what delightful little buggers!) "
